Halloween tomorrow! This year my hair won't be as scary as last year, it got to the stage where I had to get the damage cut out, 3 inches!! my hair takes ages to grow anyway! It was like Barbie hair, remember when you were a kid and you played and brushed with your Barbie's hair so much it turned into a ball of knots and frizz? well mine was like that. Too much sun and heat from curling tongs.
Anyway once the worst damage had been cut off, I soon started using conditioning masks and leave in conditioner daily, (Got into the habit of not using any conditioner because it didn't need it, then BAAM! it needs it!) and after about a year it's back to its normal condition and length, yes a year :(
I personally blame the hairdresser who spent hours curling my hair for when I was a bridesmaid, she also used far too many hair slides, my hair felt like a metal plate! 46 slides to be precise!

lol, I backcombed my hair on thursday(that's when i celebrated halloween with friends) and i can still feel the difference it made to my hair now!

Oh dear!! Backcombing always makes my hair matte! Good for you!! Keep up the conditioning and I'm sure it will be back in no time!
